Prudential Insurance recently sent a letter out to Long Term Care Policy holders regarding an optional increase in benefits and a corresponding increase in premiums. It’s important that you reply to this notice with your decision because if you don’t the increase will automatically go into effect. In other words, you have to opt out of the optional increase in coverage that is offered. The deadline for responding as stated in the letter is 30 days from letter receipt. However, you should call the customer care number (1-800-732-0416) to determine your actual deadline for responding as it may be different.
